About Us

PATH_together

The PATH Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization based in Rocky Mount NC, founded by Mrs. Pamela Whitaker, who is an advocate for victims of domestic violence. Pamela’s life changed when her best friend Tiffany lost her life due to domestic violence. Later throughout the years, Pamela experienced abuse but was a survivor.

Our Mission

We are devoted to empowering and helping people all across the world. Our plan is to reach out to the communities through donations drives, workshops, fundraisers and seminars. As well as providing counseling sessions ,clothing and safe places for families to stay if needed.

Our Vision

We envision a future where survivors of domestic violence find hope and healing. We have a vision for driving the pathway for survivors and the lost lives who suffer from domestic violence. We are seeking and willing to help females/males overcome past and present life experiences. We are here to prove to the world that silence is not the key. We as people will come together to break the silence and break the chain of abuse.

“The wounds of the past may scar, but they do not define your future. Embrace the power of healing and rewrite your story.”

Pamela Whitaker

I am a strong, victorious determined woman. I was born pure and soft and didn’t know what would happen to me throughout life. I came into this world with no wounds, scars, or a broken heart. My life has changed over the years. I have three wounds permanently on my head, neck, and chest. But I realized I was never alone! God was with me all the way.

“I know now, I was never the blame. And I’m no longer ashamed. And I will not live in silence again."

Tiffany Kentrell Shields

Tiffany was born in July 28, 1984 to Melvin and Pamela Shields. She attended Halifax County School, where she graduated with her high school diploma. Tiffany had a heart of gold, radiating warmth and positivity that touched everyone around her. Her beautiful smile could light up any room, reflecting her love for people and life.

Tragically, Tiffany's journey was cut short when she lost her life in November 12, 2002, at just 18 years old, due to the horrors of an abusive relationship. She was taken from us far too soon, leaving behind a world that was meant to be filled with cherished memories alongside her family and loved ones.

This Foundation is dedicated to honoring Tiffany's memory and the countless others whose lives have been impacted by domestic violence. We strive to raise awareness and support for those affected, ensuring their stories and struggles are never forgotten.
